The choreography of the program is based on authentic dances. Some of them were collected in isolated villages and date back hundreds of years. Through the performed dances you can get a broad view of the music, dance and costume heritage of Hungary and the Hungarian inhabited areas. While listening to live music you will be amazed by the dancing skills and colourful costumes of the performers.

During the evening you will be entertained by the Danube Symphony Orchestra. The Orchestra was formed in 1961 and consists of 60 professional musicians. Their permanent concert hall is the theatre of the Danube Palace but they are frequent guests also at other concert halls and theatres both in Hungary and abroad.

Organ concert in St. Stephen’s Basilica

The St. Stephen’s Basilica is one of the most beautiful buildings in Budapest and it’s the largest church of the city. The program of the concert was adapted by Miklos Teleki, one of the best organ artists of Hungary. The arias of the program are performed by Kolos Kovats, one of the most famous concert an oratorio singer in Hungary. The flute is played by Eleonóra Krusic who is already known for her performances with different orchestras in many countries.
